International Observe the Moon Night is for everyone. Event hosts, participants, and observers are expected to treat one another with respect and dignity, and to contribute to an environment that is free from harassment and discrimination in all forms.

International Observe the Moon Night is a NASA-funded program. NASA defines harassment as any unwelcome conduct, verbal or physical, based on an individual’s race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, status as a parent, genetic information, or gender identity.1 Profanity, hate speech, bullying, and degrading comments are not permitted in connection with International Observe the Moon Night.

Event hosts or participants who violate this code of conduct may be sanctioned, and/or expelled, and/or have their content removed from the International Observe the Moon Night website, program Flickr page, and NASA social media pages at the discretion of the International Observe the Moon Night leadership team.
