Mrs. Mary Haise receives an explanation of the revised flight plan of the Apollo 13 mission from astronaut Gerald P. Carr in the viewing room of the Mission Control Center (MCC), Building 30, at the Manned Spacecraft Center (MSC). Her husband, astronaut Fred W. Haise Jr., lunar module pilot for the Apollo 13 mission, was joining fellow crew members, astronauts James A. Lovell Jr., and John L. Swigert Jr. in making correction in their spacecraft following discovery of an oxygen cell failure several hours earlier.
